best quote ever (from william) but yes, i am in the future. here it is 9 whatever pm on January 6th and home its like 9 am? the flight took forever and was so hot but when we got off the airplane i was so awestruck (or exhausted) to care that i had just been traveling for over 24 hours - glad i caught the 6:40 am flight to JFK..
not much to say yet- met some cool people, my roommate is nice- tomorrow we are going to mao's tomb, Tiananmen square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and a Peking duck dinner! so exciting. my roommate brought her computer so ill try to blog etc- ill try to post the syllabus too :)

aw yay! av youre going to love those sights... and the duck is amazing, put sugar and those extra veggies (& questionable treats) on the bread to eat with it. its DELISH (i was skeptical but loved it)! and start taking those pictures woman!
